The 5-day free trial: how to start and what happens next
The full system with every feature for 5 days on your site — and your data stays afterwards.
The trial is the complete system with every feature on your own site, with no commitment. The five days start automatically the first time the trial copy runs.
Request the trial
Open the free trial page on the MEGA website.
Enter your name and company, choose your sector and country, then your mobile/WhatsApp, email and number of employees, and agree to be contacted.
Press “Send trial request”. We reach you on WhatsApp within one working day and set up your copy.
During the trial
- A yellow bar at the top of every portal shows the days left and the end date.
- Three days or less before the end the bar turns red, and the system administrator sees a “Request full activation” link that opens “MEGA support”.
After the trial: read-only
The system does not stop suddenly and your data is not lost: it becomes read-only. Viewing, printing and export keep working; any save or edit is refused with a message explaining why.
Press “Request activation” in the red bar at the top.
Enter the “Licence code” and “Activation password” you receive from MEGA after subscribing — see Activating your MEGA licence.
After activation everything works as before, with the same data.
Screenshots come from a demo copy with sample data.
