Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This policy explains how MEGA, the business-software brand owned and run by Mohamed Abdelfattah Elgafarawy, handles the personal data of visitors to mega-egy.com and of anyone who requests a free trial or contacts us. In Saudi Arabia we follow the Personal Data Protection Law (Royal Decree M/19 of 9/2/1443H, as amended, and its regulations); in Egypt, Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Data controller: MEGA — Mohamed Abdelfattah Elgafarawy. For any request about your data: WhatsApp +966 58 258 7221 or the email shown on our Contact page.

2. What we collect

  • Trial request form: your name, company, sector, country, mobile/WhatsApp number, email, number of employees and any note you add.
  • Limited technical data: a hashed fingerprint of your IP address to block spam and limit repeated requests, and the browser type in normal server logs.
  • Display preferences: the language and pricing country you choose are kept in your browser only (localStorage) and are not sent to us.

We use no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking on this website.

3. Why we use it (purpose and legal basis)

  • To contact you, prepare your free trial and send a quote — based on the consent you give when you submit the form, and to act on your request.
  • To protect the site from abuse and automated submissions — our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
  • To meet legal duties such as invoicing if you become a customer.

We do not sell your data or use it for any other purpose without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

Only the MEGA team sees your request. Data is stored on the servers of the hosting provider that runs this website, and an email provider may be used to deliver the request notification to us. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

5. Transfers outside your country

Hosting or email servers may be outside Saudi Arabia or Egypt. We transfer only what the purposes above require, with safeguards consistent with the cross-border transfer rules of both countries.

6. How long we keep it

We keep trial requests for at most 24 months after our last contact, then delete or anonymise them — unless you become a customer, in which case the legal retention periods for contracts and invoices apply. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

7. Your rights

  • To be informed how your data is collected and used.
  • To access your data and get a copy.
  • To correct or update your data.
  • To have your data destroyed once it is no longer needed.
  • To withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
  • To object to or restrict processing where the law allows.

Send any request on WhatsApp +966 58 258 7221. We reply within the legal time limit (30 days in Saudi Arabia; in Egypt, the periods set by Law 151/2020).

8. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) in Saudi Arabia, or to the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt.

9. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), trial requests are visible only to the site administrator, and we store a hash of your IP address instead of the address itself. If a breach affects your data, we notify the competent authority and you as the law requires.

10. Children

This site is for businesses and adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be explained on the site.
